Merry Christmas. Yes, I begin a little early, but that is the way of an artist.
The tree is the way my family and many families in Norway decorates the tree.
I always write God Jul and nearly never Merry Christmas, simply because it's kind of universal, like I would say: "Hei, Hallo, Takk" you understand it
So, for now this is my Christmas card for the holidays. Maybe I will some more, maybe I wont. We will see. Right now my exams are coming up, so I gonna be a little bit busy.
Hmm... Our "o" is like o in gone, though but a bit sharper and when we say good in Norwegian we say the "d" in the end. So it should be written something like this: Ghou youle.
If you wondering what "God Jul" means it's simply = Good Jul. Yes, that's right, Jul do not mean Christmas, though I my self think so when I say it. The word Jul (jólablot) is old and was a fellow word all over the north (that's why the Swedes, Danish, Finnish and Icelandic also says it). As in many cultures it was the time of year when we celebrated return of the sun. It was celebrated with good food and drinks while one honored the Gods. Why the word stuck, I can only speculate, but at this day it stands for the coming of christ. At least for me

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
